LA ESPERA

Fifteen human-like clay figures (Standing Figures) two feet tall each, enclosed in a glass and metal structure that contains photocopies and messages. Hands are the only expressive feature of the anatomy. This work recalls the situation of the artist being taken hostage on December 17, 1996, at the Japanese Ambassador ’s Residence in Lima.
