Ceramics for everyday use

Carlos Runcie Tanaka’s functional and utilitarian works emerged from a deep engagement with ceramic traditions, material experimentation, and the ritual of everyday use. Drawing from Japanese and pre-Columbian traditions, while also reflecting an Italian sensitivity toward design, rhythm, and repetition, his plates, vessels, and domestic objects dissolved the boundary between craftsmanship, sculpture, and daily life.
